Charity Children’s Martial Arts Competition: Boxing, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and MMA at Nikko Fight Club
In the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv, a children’s martial arts competition took place — an event that left a mark not only in the hearts of the participants, but also in the lives of those who are currently defending our country.
Athletes from Nikko Fight Club stepped onto the mat not only to win — but to contribute to a greater cause.

A Competition Where Unity Won
This time, children from two club locations — Solomianskyi district and Pozniaky — took part in the competition. Despite coming from different parts of the city, they gathered under one roof with a shared goal: to gain valuable experience and showcase their progress.
The event had a charitable purpose.
Thanks to everyone involved, we raised 18,050 UAH, which will be donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
When young athletes step onto the mat knowing that their efforts help those who protect them — it builds something far greater than just striking technique.
Nikko Fight Club — Over 12 Years of Experience in Martial Arts
Nikko Fight Club is a Kyiv-based martial arts club with three locations:
- Solomianskyi district (right bank)
- Pozniaky (left bank)
- Podil (city center)
The club brings together children and adults who want to develop physically, learn self-defense, and be part of an environment where discipline and character are valued. Families train here together — and this is not just a phrase.
Martial Arts for Children: Why It Matters Today
Many parents ask: why does a child need boxing or MMA? The answer is broader than it seems.
Physical development and health
Martial arts provide a full-body workout. Coordination, reaction, endurance, flexibility — all of these develop from the very first session and build a long-term habit of an active lifestyle.
Confidence and self-esteem
A child who knows they can stand up for themselves feels different. Not aggressive — but calm and confident. This quality helps at school, in communication, and later in adult life.
Discipline and character
You can’t fake it on the mat — results depend only on you. Regular training teaches children to set goals, overcome challenges, and not give up after failure. This is a life skill.
Team spirit and respect
Although martial arts are individual sports, there is always a team behind you. Children learn to respect their opponent, their coach, and the rules. They become part of something bigger.
Safety and self-defense
In today’s world, the ability to protect yourself matters. Parents who bring their children to Nikko Fight Club know: here, kids are taught not to attack, but to defend.
Training Programs at Nikko Fight Club
The club offers a wide range of disciplines for both children and adults:
- Boxing — classic striking technique, footwork, and defense
- Muay Thai — full-contact fighting with punches, kicks, elbows, and knees
- Kickboxing — a dynamic mix of boxing and kicking techniques
- MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) — stand-up, grappling, and ground fighting
Both group and personal training sessions are available — depending on your goals and level. Beginners and experienced athletes alike will find their own pace and path here.
