Where to Train in Boxing, Muay Thai, or MMA in Podil?

If you’ve been wanting to try martial arts for a long time but kept putting it off because of an inconvenient location, no one to train with, or the thought that “I should get in shape first” — we have good news.

Nikko Fight Club recently opened a new location in Podil.

Now you can train in boxing, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA all in one club — for adults and children, complete beginners and experienced athletes, in group classes or one-on-one with a coach.

But before we tell you more about the training, let’s get to know each other a little better.

Nikko Fight Club — More Than Just a Martial Arts Gym

Nikko Fight Club is a martial arts club with more than 12 years of experience and three locations in Kyiv.

Over the years, thousands of athletes have trained in our gyms.

Some came to try boxing for the very first time.

Some wanted to lose weight and get in shape.

Some were looking for a new type of exercise after years at a regular gym.

For some, martial arts became a serious athletic journey.

And some simply came to a trial session one day — and stayed with us for years.

That probably describes our philosophy better than anything else.

We don’t want to be a club where people simply complete an hour-long workout and go home.

We want to create a place you genuinely want to come back to.

A place where beginners never feel like they don’t belong.

Where coaches help you instead of making you prove that you’re already fit enough.

Where you can train seriously, improve, set ambitious goals — and still enjoy the process itself.

Our goal is simple: to help people fall in love with martial arts.

Why Martial Arts?

Because martial arts are one of those activities that very quickly become much more than just physical exercise.

During your first session, you’re thinking about how to position your hands correctly.

A few weeks later, you’re already putting combinations together.

Then suddenly, you notice that your endurance has improved.

Your reactions are faster.

You have better control over your body.

You feel more confident.

And an ordinary after-work workout becomes a part of your week that you no longer want to miss.

Martial arts simultaneously develop strength, endurance, coordination, speed, reaction time, and discipline.

And most importantly, you always feel that you’re progressing.

You didn’t just “burn calories.”

Today, you learned something you couldn’t do yesterday.

Boxing in Podil

Boxing is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to discover martial arts.

And it is about much more than punching power.

You learn how to move correctly, control distance, use your body, react to an opponent, combine punches, and manage your energy efficiently.

Boxing is excellent for developing:

  • endurance;
  • coordination;
  • reaction speed;
  • overall fitness;
  • concentration;
  • self-confidence.

And no, you don’t need to be physically prepared before your first session.

Training is exactly how you build that fitness.

Muay Thai

Looking for even more action?

Then Muay Thai may be the perfect choice.

In Muay Thai, punches are combined with kicks, knee strikes, and other technical elements.

It is an incredibly versatile martial art that provides a serious physical workout while constantly giving you something new to learn.

Muay Thai is especially popular among people who quickly become bored with repetitive workouts.

Here, there’s simply no time to get bored.

Kickboxing

Kickboxing combines active hand and leg techniques, a fast pace, and a wide variety of combinations.

It is a great option for anyone who wants to train the entire body, develop endurance, and learn real martial arts techniques at the same time.

The sessions are highly dynamic, so time in the gym seems to pass incredibly quickly.

And after a while, you begin to notice just how much better your body responds to physical activity.

MMA in Podil

If you’re looking for the most comprehensive option, MMA is definitely worth considering.

Mixed Martial Arts combines different martial arts techniques, including striking, grappling, opponent control, and working from different positions.

That is exactly what makes MMA so exciting.

There is always something to improve.

Today, you work on your striking.

Tomorrow, you focus on grappling.

Then you learn how to transition between different techniques.

MMA develops not only physical fitness but also strategic thinking, reaction speed, and control over your own body.

Martial Arts for Children in Podil

Nikko Fight Club isn’t only for adults.

For children, martial arts offer much more than simply improving physical fitness.

During training, children gradually learn:

  • discipline;
  • concentration;
  • coordination;
  • responsibility;
  • respect for their coach and other athletes;
  • confidence in their own abilities.

We pay particular attention to the atmosphere in our children’s classes.

It is important to us that children don’t feel afraid to come to the gym — quite the opposite, we want them to look forward to their next session.

That is why both the training load and learning process are introduced gradually, according to each child’s age and level of preparation.

Group or Personal Training?

Both formats have their advantages.

Group classes offer atmosphere, team energy, and a strong sense of community.

You train alongside other people, see their progress, support one another, and gradually find your own circle within the club.

For many people, this becomes one of the main reasons they keep showing up.

Personal training is a different format.

Here, your coach’s full attention is focused on you.

You can work on technique in greater detail, correct mistakes faster, adjust the training load to your own pace, and structure the entire process around a specific goal.

Some people choose group classes only.

Some prefer personal training.

And many of our athletes combine both formats.

What If I’ve Never Trained Before?

Then you’re exactly the kind of person Nikko Fight Club was created for.

You don’t need to spend a month running first.

You don’t need to lose weight.

You don’t need to buy half the sports store.

And you definitely don’t need to worry that everyone around you already knows what they’re doing.

Every athlete once walked into a gym for the first time.

Our job is to make sure that first experience feels comfortable.

Your coach will explain the basics, introduce you to the technique, and help you gradually adapt to the training load.

A Community That Makes You Want to Come Back

We talk a lot about professional coaches, technique, and results.

But there is another thing that is impossible to fully communicate through a website.

The atmosphere.

Over more than 12 years, a large sports community has grown around Nikko Fight Club.

People come to us with different professions, personalities, levels of fitness, and goals.

But inside the gym, everything becomes simpler.

People learn together.

Work together.

Laugh together.

Support each other.

Celebrate progress together.

And very often, the people you happened to meet in the same group become, a few months later, exactly the people who make you want to come to training even after a difficult day.

For us, that is what a real sports club is all about.

The New Nikko Fight Club in Podil

When opening our new location, we wanted to bring to Podil everything that athletes have loved about Nikko Fight Club for many years.

A professional approach.

Strong coaches.

A variety of martial arts disciplines.

A comfortable environment for beginners.

Opportunities for experienced athletes to make serious progress.

And that special atmosphere that gradually turns sports into a natural part of everyday life.

Today, at our Podil location, you can choose:

And you don’t need to know immediately which discipline will suit you best.

That’s exactly what your first training session is for.

Start With a Free Trial Session

You can spend a long time reading about the differences between boxing and kickboxing.

Watching videos.

Comparing clubs.

Promising yourself that you’ll start “next Monday.”

Or you can simply come to the gym once and understand everything much faster.

At Nikko Fight Club in Podil, your first trial training session is free.

You’ll meet the coach, see the club, experience the atmosphere, and understand whether this discipline is right for you.

From there, everything begins with small steps.

Your first stance.

Your first combination.

Your first round.

That first feeling of: “I’m already getting better.”

And then one day, you realize that you’re no longer searching for where to train in boxing or MMA in Podil.

Because you’ve already found your club.
