Rules and self-defense tips for girls

Personal safety has always been relevant, in any country and at any time. There are many books, video tutorials, combat techniques designed for the civilian population. But not all recommendations from them are easy to implement by representatives of the weak half of humanity. There are several basic and effective tricks for girls that will help in an emergency. As practice shows, these techniques allow not to exceed the permissible level of self-defense.

Self-defense tips for girls

1. Kick "between the legs"

One of the most famous and effective techniques that girls are taught first of all with any self-defense complex. One powerful blow between the legs, and the attacker reflexively lowers his hands due to pain, distracting from the victim. The groin is one of the most vulnerable places in men. The blow is applied with the foot or knee to increase the force of the defeat, otherwise the force of the blow will not be enough to disable the attacker.

2. Eye Strike

Press the attacker's eyes with the thumbs, and grab the jaw with the rest of the fingers. When pressing, you need to put all the force into the thumbs, the remaining fingers can reflexively fold into a fist to increase the pressing force. The enemy will be severely injured and be in a disoriented state for a long time.

3. Exemption from suffocation

The technique helps in a situation where the attacker is standing in front of you and grabbing your throat. You should immediately break free from the grip with blows to the face with a hand or foreign objects, such as a bag, which helps to distract the enemy, and he will loosen the grip.

The release hold must be started by leaning with the shoulder on the attacker, from top to bottom, using all your weight.

4. Nose punch

An effective way to unexpectedly interrupt an attack that causes pain and confusion to the enemy. To do this, quietly move your hand flush with the other hand and sharply hit the edge of the palm of the current hand on the nose of the enemy.

5. Knee kick

A blow to the knee must be done with the inner edge of the shoe (shoes). This technique breaks the ligaments of the knee joint and immobilizes the enemy. In addition, it combines well with the previous techniques.

Only never use the toe of the shoe in the reception, it can easily slip off without causing any harm to the enemy, but only anger him.

More self-defense tips for girls

Another important rule is to carry a gas canister, stun gun, or other means to help neutralize the attacker. It is important that the items are not somewhere far away in a handbag, but in a pocket at hand, because you will have only a few seconds, or even less, to repel an attack.

However, if there were no special tools at hand, any items will do. It can be a cobblestone or brick picked up from the ground, keys or a lady's bag.

Whatever you use, remember that speed and confidence are key. The more aggression and strength you put in, the more likely you are to disable the attacker and buy yourself time to call for help or run away.

With these simple self-defense rules for girls, you can repel an attack without resorting to exhausting martial arts. It is enough to conduct a few training sessions in which you need to learn the above techniques. Ask for help from your dad, brother, friends, husband or boyfriend. Work out with him all the tricks in slow motion and after - in real time, sharply and clearly. All movements should be obtained automatically, so that even in an emergency, despite the panic, the movements are reflexively remembered. This will help you save your property, health, and in some cases your life!

But many girls prefer to turn to a self-defense specialist in order to get more effective and professional ways and methods of protection. Our martial arts club "Nikko Fight Club" in Kyiv presents for everyone training such as: women's self-defense or female kickboxing for girls and women.
