The main event of the summer of 2018 in MMA took place in Kyiv – WWFC 11

On June 16, 14 fights took place in the Kiev Sports Palace as part of the WWFC 11 mixed martial arts tournament. Three of them were for the WWFC MMA world titles.
The main event of this evening was the fight between Ukrainian Sergey Guzev and Brazilian Wagner Silva in the weight up to 84 kg. The fight ended with the victory of our athlete, who had a worthy performance in all five rounds.
Georgian athlete Roman Dolidze and Brazilian Eder de Souza fought for the vacant MMA world title in the weight category up to 93 kg. The outcome of the fight was already resolved in the second round, when Dolidze knocked out the opponent with a hit from the right.
Another champion duel in mixed martial arts was held by athletes in the weight up to 52 kg - Ukrainian "Phoenix Bird" Svetlana Gotsyk and Czech Magdalena Sormova. In this fight, Svetlana Gotsyk defended the champion title for the second time, but already in the first round she could not resist the pressure of the athlete from the Czech Republic. Magdalena Sormova carried out a series of blows to the head, and then went to the submission hold, thereby forcing Svetlana Gotsyk to surrender.
